Partnered with Ryōra, their dynamic hinges on contrast: Kinshū wears austere monastic robes steeped in tradition, while Ryōra sports sleek, modern attire. Together, they intervene decisively in a critical battle, quelling the rampaging Kyoichi Hiyu after his powers spiral into feral chaos. During the Shinjuku temple assault, Kinshū falls captive to Tamaki, a priestess loyal to Miki Chiyoe, compelling Ryōra to face Tamaki solo in a lethal duel that ends in Ryōra’s self-sacrifice. Kinshū’s contributions remain rooted in teamwork, his combat prowess interwoven with collective strategy rather than individual feats. His arc culminates amid the temple’s ruins as the protagonists rally for their final clash against the Chiyoe faction.
