Description
Origami Tobiichi's journey features profound transformations. Her parents perished in a spatial quake five years before the main events, an event she blamed on a Spirit. This fueled her intense hatred and drove her to become a Master Sergeant in the Anti-Spirit Team (AST). As a human wizard, she wielded Combat Realizer Units like <White Licoriceand <Mordredwith exceptional skill, acknowledged by elite figures like Ellen Mira Mathers. While proficient in close combat against Spirits, her vengeful drive often overruled tactical caution.

Initially emotionally detached and withdrawn, Origami made exceptions only for Shido Itsuka and Tohka Yatogami. She displayed extreme, reckless determination, exemplified by her willingness to kill Shido's sister Kotori, a Spirit, despite his pleas. Her obsession with Shido manifested as stalking, collecting his personal data and possessions, which she rationalized as emotional dependence stemming from his comfort after her parents' death. This fixation coexisted with her vengeance until revelations about her parents' deaths triggered a crisis.

Transformed into a Spirit by Phantom, Origami learned Phantom might have caused her parents' deaths. Using Kurumi Tokisaki's time abilities, she traveled to intercept Phantom but inadvertently fired the light beam that killed her parents. Realizing her own responsibility, she succumbed to despair and inverted, becoming the catatonic "Devil" entity, unleashing uncontrolled destruction with a darkened Astral Dress.

Shido's time travel intervention saved Origami's parents, creating a new reality where Origami grew up without trauma. Here, she was cheerful, questioned the AST's methods, and lacked awareness of her Spirit capabilities. Yet, memories and powers from the original timeline lingered, causing conflict. Exposure to Spirit energy during a date with Shido triggered a reversion to her Inverse form, prompting a mental battle between her two selves. Fusion with her original-timeline counterpart resolved this duality; she regained all memories, shortened her hair, relinquished her grudge against Spirits, and solidified her genuine love for Shido.

Physically, Origami has silvery-white hair in a bob cut and blue eyes that shift to light blue/white as a Spirit, standing 152 cm tall. Her Astral Dress resembles a wedding dress, reflecting a childhood aspiration. Her Angel, Metatron, manifests as golden pillars forming a crown capable of light-based attacks like Shemesh and Kadour, plus defenses. Post-fusion, her personality integrates assertiveness and competitiveness around Shido or Tohka, while ordinary scenarios elicit shyness. An internal "Angel and Devil" debate symbolizes this duality, the Angel representing original impulses and the Devil embodying reason.

She ultimately joins Ratatoskr, accepting Shido's reliance on her for future Spirit incidents, marking her transition from antagonist to ally.
