Description
Helena began as an ordinary human with latent psychic abilities labeled "intentional mutant," shared with her younger brother, Apollo. The Black Ghost organization kidnapped them both, subjecting them to experimental cybernetic modifications at a secret Canadian facility. Held captive under codenames H-0014W (Helena) and H-0017W (Apollo), they grew up without understanding traditional family structures.

Dr. Adams Teufel, a Black Ghost scientist, presented the siblings to Dr. Gaia and Dr. Uranus for the Mythos Cyborg project. Selected for their psychic potential and compatible brainwaves, they were renamed "Helena" and "Apollo" after Greek mythological figures. Intensive brainwashing erased their human identities, conditioning them to believe they were divine entities.

Physically, Helena appears as a slender young woman with short, symmetrically spiked blonde hair and large dark teal eyes. Her attire consists of a sleeveless white ankle-length Grecian robe fastened by a gold pin, a blue beaded tiara, gold armbands, wristbands, a dark brown belt with a gold buckle, and brown sandals.

Personality-wise, Helena displays notable gentleness and empathy, contrasting sharply with Apollo's aggression. During the battle between the Mythos Cyborgs and the 00 Cyborgs on Magma Island, she expressed despair over the conflict and explicit sympathy towards Joe Shimamura (Cyborg 009). This compassion drove her to intervene physically when Apollo prepared a fatal attack against Joe.

Her defining moment occurred when she threw herself at Apollo to shield Joe, pleading with her brother to stop. Apollo halted his pyrokinetic attack, but the unstable volcanic ground collapsed beneath them, plunging both siblings into a molten crater, resulting in their immolation and deaths.

Ancillary light novel material describes Helena as possessing weak psychic powers, including telepathy, though these abilities remain undemonstrated in the animated adaptation. Unlike her manga counterpart who piloted a mechanical Trojan horse, this incarnation lacks visible combat capabilities or vehicles.

Narratively, Helena serves as a thematic parallel to Eva Maria Pallares (Cyborg 0015), another character bound by familial loyalty amid Black Ghost's manipulations. Both characters share design elements like "mysterious woman-style eyes," reinforcing their symbolic connection as tragic figures who sacrifice themselves for loved ones.
