Description
Pele Poporo serves as a sergeant under Lyne Mei in the Althean Royal Guard at Hoemmh, adopting a carefree persona that includes teasing her about clumsiness and uniform mishaps. His appearance features light brown hair, green eyes, a military uniform, and a frequent white headband. This facade conceals his true identity: Gespenst Zerlegen, the "Pierce Baron" among the seven Legendary Red Barons and Colonel General of the covert Special Service.

His past involves a traumatic childhood where his parents traded him for food, instilling profound distrust. He later joined the 13th Special Military Forces School, becoming a soldier. After the Abandonment War erupted, he underwent Baron Surgery, founded the Special Service under Schmelman Bach’s direct command, and operated in secrecy—never interacting with the other Barons. For 300 years post-Althea’s founding as a floating utopia, he led the Special Service in infiltrating the Royal Guard and royal family.

Tasked with assassinating Jail Murdoch and Gefängnis, he infiltrated the Guard as "Pele Poporo" after failing to kill them due to Jail’s alertness. Posing as Lyne’s subordinate in Hoemmh, he maintained a cheerful exterior while manipulating events, like nudging Lyne toward Licht Bach. His initial Count of 120—purportedly marking "how many times he doubted someone"—was likely falsified.

His loyalty later fractures: he shields Lyne from a Special Service assassin during a civilian attack, taking a blow meant for her. He then engineers a confrontation where the Service exposes his identity and role. Though ruthlessly pragmatic—executing displeasing allies—he shows genuine care for Lyne, acknowledging her wish to save Licht and attempting awkward comfort. His Baron ability to read minds aids strategic maneuvering in conflicts.

During the Last War, he independently confronts Schmelman Bach to protect Licht and allies but suffers crushing defeat. His feelings for Lyne solidify into romance. In the epilogue, they attend Hina’s childbirth; when Lyne voices a desire for children, he responds with flustered commitment to strengthening their relationship first.
