TV-Series
Description
Scarlet Gosling, daughter of a barber whose shop shares a building with Juzo Inui’s residence, persistently urges her father to maintain the business to ensure Juzo’s continued visits. Her father services Juzo’s mechanical revolver-shaped head, a task Scarlet later assumes when he falls incapacitated, though her inexperience results in misaligned parts and residual oil. Openly harboring romantic feelings for Juzo, she prioritizes his well-being even under duress, such as when confronting police harassment outside the shop until Juzo intervenes.
After the Reconstruction Agency’s EMS unit arrests Juzo, Scarlet and her father are detained at his insistence. Despite her mechanical shortcomings, she insists on finalizing Juzo’s head maintenance before his imprisonment, underscoring her steadfast commitment.
Her role in Juzo’s life remains secondary but unwavering, marked by earnest efforts to support him through practical and emotional challenges. While her technical skills falter, her loyalty and determination highlight a narrative centered on her devotion to Juzo and her father’s shop, eschewing wider conflicts for personal steadfastness.
