Miharu employs sexuality as a tactical method, exemplified when she trades sexual favors with a patient in the sixty-nine position during rounds, immediately preceding her hacking attempt. Dr. Maruki interrupts this operation, prevented from tasing her only by an incidental phone call.

After Yuka’s capture by the Charisma cult, Miharu joins Sakura in a search that fails to prevent Yuka’s assault by cult members and Kaidoh Ochi. The team later interrogates Dr. Maruki regarding Sakura’s subsequent capture, but Kaidoh’s trap results in Sakura’s imprisonment.
