Description
Father leads the clandestine organization White Night (alternatively called Guild Jack Raven or Guild White Knight). His first significant action occurs during a lycanthrope attack in Shangarta village. There, he encounters young Kufa attempting to save the mortally wounded Rosetti Pricket. Witnessing Kufa's desperate bid to turn Rosetti into his kin and prevent her death, Father negotiates a pact: Rosetti may live with sealed memories if Kufa swears absolute loyalty and undergoes rigorous training to become a guild assassin. This agreement forges their enduring hierarchical bond.

Years later, as head of White Night, Father dispatches Kufa on a critical mission to assess Melida Angel's magical potential. The directive explicitly orders Melida's assassination should she prove incapable of manifesting mana, a task grounded in maintaining noble bloodline purity. Father monitors Kufa's progress through intermediaries like Black Madia (later known as Laqua), demonstrating a pattern of operational surveillance. When Kufa disobeys by sparing Melida and artificially awakening her mana, Father's distrust emerges, prompting covert investigations into Kufa's report validity.

The dynamic between Father and Kufa shifts from mentorship to adversarial tension. While their interactions sometimes reflect a detached boss-subordinate rapport—Kufa internally dubs him "the bastard father"—Father's authority stands unchallenged until Kufa's growing allegiance to Melida endangers guild objectives. This culminates in Volume 10, where Father issues an ultimatum demanding Kufa assassinate both Melida and Elise Angel to reaffirm loyalty. Kufa's refusal sparks a direct clash, resulting in Kufa's victory. Kufa spares Father's life, expressing gratitude for their past association while renouncing the guild. Father responds by initiating a permanent manhunt against Kufa and his allies, marking their final rupture.

Father operates primarily from the shadows throughout the narrative, leveraging the guild's infrastructure to enforce his will. His motivations center on organizational control and eliminating perceived threats to societal order, evidenced by his rigorous response to Kufa's defiance.
