Movie
Description
Bakim, a descendant of Atlantis, orchestrates events as the primary antagonist. As Helios's grandfather, he retrieves the ancient Sol Blaze Beyblade from submerged ruins using his Dark Poseidon Beyblade, entrusting it to Helios to execute their plan.
His goal is to rebuild Atlantis by harnessing Sol Blaze's power, which he believes requires absorbing energy from Gingka Hagane's Galaxy Pegasus. He manipulates global weather patterns to create catastrophic events worldwide, framing this destruction as righteous vengeance for Atlantis's fall.
Bakim deceives Helios by falsely claiming other nations annihilated Atlantis out of fear of the Orichalcum Beyblade's power. He directs Helios to battle Gingka and his allies, insisting Sol Blaze must prove its supremacy to fulfill their mission.
His true plan involves sacrificing Earth. He secretly uses the energy from Gingka and Helios's clashes to charge an orbital weapon intended to crash the asteroid Adonis into the planet, eradicating modern civilizations so Atlantis can rise from the devastation.
When his scheme is exposed, Helios rebels. Bakim attempts to eliminate the protagonists using his Dark Poseidon and subordinate Bladers. He is ultimately defeated: Kyoya Tategami destroys Dark Poseidon, while Gingka and Helios collaborate to obliterate Adonis in space. His narrative arc is confined to the movie.
