Despite his scientific brilliance and strong sense of justice, he exhibits an airheaded and occasionally silly demeanor, leading to comedic oversights.

He maintains a close friendship with the primary protagonist, Kakeru, and actively participates in missions to counter Specter's schemes. His granddaughter, Natsumi, serves as a laboratory operator during missions, and he provides ongoing technical support to the team.
