Description
Komami is a komainu-type Yo-kai of the Charming tribe, daughter of Koma Kaachan and younger sister to Komasan and Komajiro. Initially traveling independently across Japan and leaving behind legends, her existence prompts her brothers to search for her using clues from photos she posted on her Inzuragram account. They eventually locate and reunite with her in episode 32.

Physically resembling a komainu, she has ivory fur and a light blue stomach. Komami is slightly shorter than her brothers, with a rounder head, smaller pink hitodama flames instead of eyebrows, and a singular pink swirl on her stomach. She wears a red cloak with a pink bow and carries a blue sling pouch.

Driven by independence and curiosity, Komami extensively documents her travels through photographs uploaded to Inzuragram. Her elusive nature allowed her to avoid detection by her searching brothers, even capturing photos of them unnoticed before moving on.

Komami operates undercover for the Yo-kai Criminal Police Organization-interpol under the codename "Commander of Mysterious" or "Commander of Mystery." In this role, she assists Komasan and Komajiro in thwarting criminal activities like Gargaros's tax fraud, demonstrating proficient kung-fu skills that surprised her brothers.

In the movie "Jibanyan vs. Komasan - Monge Daikessen da Nyan," Komami investigates the disappearance of Jibanyan's Chocobars and Komasan's soft-serve ice cream. Alongside Hovernyan, she uncovers a conspiracy involving Lord Emma, highlighting her investigative duties within the YCPO.

Despite her independent pursuits, Komami maintains familial bonds. Her relationship with her brothers evolves from separation to collaboration, such as joining their later search for another sibling, Komagoro.

Komami appears as a playable character in games including "Yo-kai Watch World," "Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble," and "Yo-kai Sangokushi: Kunitori Wars." Trivia notes she has fewer speaking roles than other mascot Yo-kai, and her segments were omitted from the Korean dub due to cultural depiction regulations.
