She typically allies with Western yōkai yet readily turns against them in competitions like the Yōkai Rally. Frequently serving villains such as Backbeard, Magic King, or Shinigami, she also operates solo, as depicted in *Zoku GeGeGe no Kitarō*. Despite her antagonism, she occasionally accepts aid—permitting Kitarō and Nezumi-Otoko to assist her in *The Witch's Doll*. The 1996 anime continuity depicts her harboring romantic feelings for Nezumi-Otoko and laughing less. Her history spans multiple conflicts. Debuting as Backbeard’s minion in *The Great Yōkai War*, she slew Ittan-Momen and kidnapped Nezumi-Otoko before Kitarō defeated her. Later, representing France in the Yōkai Rally, Backbeard sabotaged her car, causing disqualification. In *The Witch's Doll*, she attempted to abduct girls for the Magic King to transform into witches; Kitarō thwarted her and stripped her powers.
