Description
Archère Elfe is a high elf over two thousand years old, still considered youthful among her kind. She has a tall, slender frame with long green hair cut short in front and long in back, accented by two side braids, and her elongated ears clearly mark her elven heritage. Her practical combat attire includes a sleeveless archer’s corset, shorts, knee-high boots in forest hues, uneven black gloves, and a hood, sometimes with a black sleeve on her left arm as an arm guard.
Raised in sheltered elven enclaves, she developed wanderlust and defied family objections to become an adventurer. Her older sister, the Forest Princess, taught her deep knowledge of nature, while a cousin trained her in archery and wilderness traversal. She initially partnered with Dwarf Shaman and Lizard Priest to purge goblins from elven lands, then sought out Goblin Slayer for his grim expertise. Witnessing goblin atrocities firsthand, including the torture and mutilation of an elven captive, shattered her romanticized view of heroism and instilled a lasting hatred of goblins. Despite this trauma, she retains an idealistic core, frequently clashing with Goblin Slayer over his ruthless methods and engaging in playful but barbed rivalries with Dwarf Shaman.
A virtuoso archer, she wields a great bow with a spider-silk string and a secondary shortbow for confined spaces. She can bend arrows mid-flight with uncanny precision and fire multiple arrows simultaneously. Her other skills include trap detection and dismantling, lockpicking, fluency in multiple tongues, enhanced hearing for reconnaissance, and acrobatic evasion. Knives at her hips serve for close encounters. She forgoes undergarments, finding them of little utility, and has a very low tolerance for alcohol—even a faint sip of mead makes her recklessly exuberant.
Over the course of her adventures, she adapts to Goblin Slayer’s tactics such as avalanches, poison, and subterfuge, confronting ever-savvier goblin chieftains. She survives capture in Water Town’s sewers, assists in defeating a dark elf with a well-placed arrow, and sustains an injury from goblins mimicking her own arrow-retrieval tactics. Though frustrated by the endless cycle of slaughter, she grows from sharpshooter to mentor, guiding rookie adventurers and following the Priestess’s leadership when needed. Her bond with Dwarf Shaman is marked by jests and proven loyalty, and she maintains ties to elven society, inviting her party to her sister’s wedding celebration.
