TV-Series
Description
Kiraritchi lives with her family—parents Kiramotchi and Kiramamatchi, plus younger sister Kiramamatchi—above their shop "Kira² Tamamori" in Dream Town. She studies drama at Dream School alongside best friend Yumemitchi, aiming to become an idol. Kind, energetic, and passionate, Kiraritchi crafts sparkling "Tamamori" accessories using her Tamamori Seal Book, favoring star shapes and the color blue. Her cheerful demeanor includes frequent smiles and laughter, though she fears rollercoasters and sleepwalks while talking.
Her bond with Yumemitchi revolves around their magical "Yume Kira Bags," acquired from a fortune-telling Tamagotchi at a circus. Kiraritchi uses her bag to transform into roles like an idol, cheerleader, or patissière, helping others while hiding her identity. Skeptical of unpredictable items from Yumecantchi (a creature emerging from the bags), she contrasts Yumemitchi’s trust. Together, they form the band "Kira Kira Girls," inspired by idols D2, with Kiraritchi as lead singer playing the Smapi Guitar. The band later expands to include Memetchi, Pianitchi, Himespetchi, and Coffretchi replacing Himespetchi as drummer.
Kiraritchi evolves across the series: initially reliant on the Yume Kira Bag for aid, she and Yumemitchi master its powers before tearfully returning the bags to the Fortune Teller and parting with Yumecantchi. Post-graduation, they leave Dream Town and Dream School for idol training in Melody Land. She reappears in "GO-GO Tamagotchi!," reuniting with Yumemitchi to revive Kira Kira Girls after encouragement from fan Nadeshikotchi, and collaborates with Moriritchi on Tamamori.
Beyond animation, Kiraritchi features in Tamagotchi media: as a raisable character in "Tamagotchi P’s" and "Tamagotchi Friends" (with specific care needs and favorite foods like pudding), DLC in "Tamagotchi 4U/4U+," an NPC in "Tamagotchi m!x" and "LINE de Hakken!! Tamagotchi," playable in "Tamagotchi no Doki Doki Dream Omisetchi," and a customer in "Tamagotchi Plaza." "Tamagotchi On" includes her variant "Kirari Hatter," while "Tamagotchi Smart" and "Tamagotchi Uni" feature her as a raisable adult or performing NPC. Her transformations span forms like "Daisy Change" (Disney), "Kira Melody" (Sanrio), "Shooting Star Kirari" (fan-designed), and "Giveuptchi" (Monster Carnival), activated via specific items or locations like Tamagotchi P's Pierces.
