Movie
Description
Pochi, an extraterrestrial botanist from the planet Wan, masquerades as an ordinary dog during his Earth mission to study Zughan—a potent energy source resembling wasabi. Injured in action, he is rescued by children who believe him to be a stray, only to later discover his academic credentials as a professor. His occasional recklessness strains their trust, complicating their dynamic.

The Zughan research sparks conflict when opportunistic foes target its power, forcing Pochi to navigate rising threats. In gratitude, he arranges a lunar trip for the children, but a sudden travel ban—triggered by his own report on Earth’s weaknesses—leaves them stranded in space. Evading agents of "The Space Show," a galactic entertainment syndicate, Pochi leads the group toward Wan, relying on his scientific expertise and lineage as the son of Taro, a famed physician known for curing rare diseases.

His guidance proves vital yet precarious, blending mentorship with moments of unpredictability. During an interstellar festival climax, Pochi’s alliances with mechanics Rubin and Ink secure critical resources, enabling the group to reclaim stolen Zughan and thwart antagonists. His strategic actions restore the children’s safety and his standing, cementing his role as a flawed but pivotal protector. The journey underscores his duality: a scholar capable of bridging worlds yet prone to miscalculations that test loyalty and resolve.
