Pochi serves as Sora Kashiwagi's loyal dog and lifelong companion, present since his childhood. She possesses jet-black fur and strikingly distinctive white, circular eyes. Remarkably, despite being approximately fifty years old, Pochi behaves like any ordinary dog, enthusiastically seeking affection from her owners. Her nature includes a special trait of longevity, enabling her to live for hundreds of years.

When the small mummy, Mii-kun, first joins the household, Pochi initially shows jealousy over the shift in Sora's attention. However, she swiftly overcomes this to form a warm friendship with Mii-kun. This bond influences Mii-kun, prompting him to imitate Pochi's dog-like actions—such as barking and attempting to eat dog food—in his own efforts to gain Sora's attention.

Pochi integrates fully into the home's unique group of supernatural creatures, including Mii-kun and the Anubis statue, Aayan. She demonstrates her sociable nature within this family dynamic, engaging in playful activities like running around while rolling Aayan.
