Description
Nanaoka directs the expedition team for a financially troubled television network. After the network's acquisition by the major streaming service Nanazon Prime Video triggered mass layoffs, Nanaoka's team faced termination due to their lack of recent hits, despite their past success filming the legendary beast Kiina. Facing unemployment, Nanaoka joined forces with his cameraman Nanamori and assistant director Nanayama to devise a new program concept to save their jobs. Their plan involves launching a live broadcast of an expedition to find the buried treasure of the Banakawa residence – a quest larger networks previously attempted and failed. This treasure hunt is their central effort to avoid layoffs following the corporate takeover. His name incorporates the Japanese word for "seven" (nana), consistent with his team members' names.
