When Team Rocket disrupts the show attempting to steal Pikachu, Satoshi readies to confront them directly but is halted by Butler, who manages the interruption through coordinated Pokémon efforts. Satoshi and Max earn audience applause, perceived as part of the act. After the performance, Satoshi discovers Jirachi with his friends, witnessing Max obtain the crystal housing the Mythical Pokémon.
