Description
Dee Eye Ell (or D.I.L.) resides in the Underworld's Dark Territory. She is the Chancellor of the Dark Mage Guild and a member of the Council of Ten. Tall and tanned, she wears the revealing attire typical of Dark Mages, featuring minimal clothing that exposes her chest and abdomen. Her long white hair, striking blue eyes, and distinctive blue makeup on her lips, nails, and eyelids complete her look.

Vain, selfish, and sadistic, Dee Eye Ell prioritizes personal power and hedonism. She harbors intense disdain for demi-humans like orcs and goblins, calling them "animals." Her ambition focuses on uncovering Quinella's secret of immortality to rule the Dark Territory, a plan thwarted by Gabriel Miller's rise as Emperor Vecta. She pledges loyalty to Vecta and enthusiastically supports his war against the Human Realm.

During the war, Dee Eye Ell devises a strategy to harvest spatial resources from battlefield casualties for high-level Sacred Arts. When this fails due to Integrity Knights' countermeasures, she accepts Vecta's suggestion to sacrifice 3,000 orcs. She coerces Orc Chief Lilpilin using the Dark Territory's Law of Power, displaying euphoria as the orcs dissolve in the ritual. This sacrifice summons indestructible "death worms," which fatally wound Integrity Knight Eldrie Synthesis Thirty-One.

Confronted by an enraged Alice Synthesis Thirty, Dee Eye Ell drains fellow dark mages' life force to shield herself, sacrificing allies for self-preservation. Later, encountering Leafa (logged in as the Earth Goddess Terraria), she incapacitates and tortures her with life-draining magic. Terraria's healing abilities force Leafa to endure prolonged agony without dying. Dee Eye Ell further humiliates Lilpilin, demanding he strip and behave "like a proper animal" for Leafa's release. Lilpilin's rebellion breaks his system restriction, allowing him to attack her. Dee Eye Ell is ultimately killed by Leafa protecting Lilpilin.

In *Sword Art Online: Integral Factor*, Dee Eye Ell appears as a lingering ghost. In *Last Recollection*, she participates in peace negotiations with Kazuto Kirigaya (Kirito) and allies but makes unreasonable demands. Defeated in battle, she grudgingly admits she does not hate Kazuto. When Gabriel Miller appears, she abandons negotiations and sides with him.
