TV-Series
Description
Kengo Benimaru manifests when Jinpei Jiba undergoes possession by the spirit Wampus via the YSP Watch, adopting a cat-like visage with glowing yellow eyes beneath black glasses and a white mouth partially concealed by a high collar. His attire includes a sleeveless white coat featuring red lining and gold zippers, red hakama trousers with black stripes, and red-white-black sneakers, accented by a golden beaded necklace with a tassel.

Personality blends a strong sense of honor with ruthless determination. He displays combat seriousness and reacts angrily to interruptions or disrespect, exemplified when Jigoku Assassin disrupted a confrontation. Sadistic tendencies emerge through references to drawing blood and punishing enemies, yet he adheres to a chivalrous code, rejecting underhanded tactics and confronting opponents directly.

His primary weapon, the katana Reiken Danzetsumaru (霊剣 断絶丸), cuts steel. Combat emphasizes high-speed swordsmanship and agility, enabling evasive maneuvers and extreme jumps. Techniques include Crimson Slash (紅き一閃), Furious Horizontal Slice (怒髪天才横一文字斬り), and Void Shadow Swords (虚影の太刀)—the latter erasing all targets in range while recharging allies' abilities in specific manifestations. Limitations involve predictable patterns exploitable by foes like Zense and Raise, and difficulty breaking powerful grapples such as Medatsukotosuki's hold.

An alternate dimension incarnation appears in *Silver Strike: Strange Mystery on Christmas*, summoned by Kamen Rider Diend. This variant denies the name "Jinpei Jiba" when referenced. Combat parameters include 3-ton punching power, 10-ton kicking power, 15-meter maximum jump height, and 100-meter sprint capability in 5.2 seconds. The Furious Horizontal Slice special attack delivers 15 tons of force. Transformation employs the announcement ♪Y, Y, Y, Y, Y-Y-Y-Y! S-P!♪ with rock music accompaniment.

A rogue variant, Kengo Benimaru Picaro, forms when a Trickster contracts with Bakera Picaro. It wields Rekkaken Cursemaru and exhibits unpredictable combat tactics. Unlike the original, this form lacks reaction-speed limits and breaks restraints like MDL-ED's grasp. It reflects fire-based attacks and resists curse skills but is vulnerable to bless-type abilities and water attributes.

Game appearances include *Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life* (unlocked in Chapter 2), *Yo-kai Watch: Wibble Wobble* (December 2019 event-exclusive), and *Yo-kai Watch World* (December 2019-January 2020 movie commemorative event). In *Wibble Wobble*, the base "Kengo Benimaru" starts with a filled Soultimate gauge and boosts Brave tribe unity, while "Y-Kakusei Kengo Benimaru" clears all Wib Wobs and recharges allies' gauges.
