Description
Naru Senda is a 17-year-old high school student distinguished by her pale skin, shoulder-length light black hair styled with square bangs, and black eyes. She typically wears a white shirt, blue skirt, and blue sneakers.

Driven by her aspiration to become an idol singer, Naru frequently practices singing in public spaces like parks. During one such performance, Hime Gotou listens and becomes her "number one fan," leading to an invitation for tea at the Gotou household. There, she meets Kakushi Gotou, promptly correcting him when he mistakes her for a manga fan. They discuss her idol ambitions, which Kakushi takes seriously, though his interest is partly rooted in researching a similar character for his manga.

Beyond singing, Naru volunteers as an art instructor for children, showcasing her helpful and courageous nature. This volunteer work fosters a close bond with Hime.

Naru develops unrequited feelings for Kakushi, largely because he is one of the few who sincerely supports her idol dream. This emotional attachment leads her to attempt staying with him during a period of running away from home.

Years later, her career shifts from idol aspirations to journalism. As a reporter, she personally investigates Kakushi’s accident and the circumstances of his coma, uncovering key background details about his past, including his decade-long search for his missing wife and the public backlash that caused him to quit manga.

Her name, Naru Senda, is a pun meaning "I want to be the center of an idol group."
