Description
Aloe, known as Lenora in English-language media, is the Gym Leader of Nacrene City in the Unova region, specializing in Normal-type Pokémon. She also serves as director of the Nacrene Museum alongside her Gym duties and is married to Hawes, the museum's curator. Trainers defeating her earn the Basic Badge and TM67 (Retaliate).
In the Pokémon Generations episode "The Uprising" (Episode 13), Aloe joins the Unova Gym Leaders mobilizing against the Seven Sages of Team Plasma outside N's Castle. She participates in the large-scale battle against Team Plasma Grunts, commanding her Herdier which uses Tackle against a Grunt's Krokorok.
Prior to the events of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, Aloe steps down as Gym Leader to focus on the museum. During this period, she provides the player with either a Cover Fossil or Plume Fossil at the Nacrene Museum. She later competes in the Pokémon World Tournament, consistently leading with Watchog across various battle formats.
Her established Pokémon team features Watchog, known for moves including Mean Look and Thunderbolt, and Herdier, utilizing Roar, Take Down, and Giga Impact, reflecting her Normal-type specialization.
