Ruijerd Superdia hails from the demonic Superd tribe, marked by emerald green hair, porcelain white skin, and a red forehead gemstone. Born to warrior parents in the Babinosu Region, he ascended to war chief of Laplace's elite warriors. He married his childhood companion, Luwelia, and they had a son, Luiweld. During the Laplace War, Laplace betrayed the Superd, replacing their birth spears with cursed Devil's spears that induced frenzy. Under this curse, Ruijerd killed his own son. Luiweld's final act freed Ruijerd from mind control, driving him to vengeance. Years later, exploiting a weakness during the battle against the three heroes, Ruijerd struck Laplace, contributing to the demon's defeat. Despite this, the Superd were nearly exterminated and branded monstrous child-killers across the continents. Standing roughly 190 cm tall with a muscular build, Ruijerd possesses green hair and a prominent scar stretching from his right forehead to his left cheek. He initially wore a tribal vest covering his back and sides. After Rudeus Greyrat bleached his hair for disguise, Ruijerd later shaved his head bald, wearing a headband to conceal his forehead gemstone. He also carries a necklace gifted by Rudeus, originally belonging to Roxy Migurdia. His personality blends sternness with deep compassion, especially towards children. He strictly adheres to a warrior's code focused on protecting children and honoring promises, driving him to extreme actions like slaughtering captors who harm children, often leading to misunderstandings. He exhibits unwavering loyalty and a stubborn commitment to justice, refusing to tolerate even minor crimes regardless of social consequences. Guilt over his son's death fuels his lifelong mission to restore the Superd's honor. After the Laplace War, Ruijerd wandered alone for centuries. His pivotal role began when he rescued Rudeus Greyrat and Eris Boreas Greyrat stranded on the Demon Continent after the Teleport Incident. He formed the adventuring party Dead End with them, using the alias "Watch Dog" to hide his Superd identity. Journeying to return Eris to the Central Continent, Ruijerd shared his past with Rudeus, who vowed to help redeem the Superd's reputation. Their travels included confronting Pax Shirone in the Shirone Kingdom and a near-fatal battle against Dragon God Orsted on the Red Wyrm Mountains. Parting ways with Rudeus and Eris, Ruijerd later encountered Norn Greyrat in Millishion, defending her from harassers. He advised her to confront her familial struggles, leaving a lasting impact. Paul Greyrat reluctantly entrusted Ruijerd with escorting Norn and Aisha Greyrat to Rudeus in Sharia. Six months later, Ruijerd delivered them safely, expressed disappointment over Rudeus's failed relationship with Eris, and departed to continue searching for surviving Superd. Years later, Ruijerd was located in the Forest of No Return within the Biheiril Kingdom, living among a community of surviving Superd. Reuniting with Rudeus, he revealed the tribe suffered from an uncured plague, temporarily suppressed by the Abyssal King Vita, who possessed him, marked by a corrupted blue gemstone on his forehead. Ruijerd declined Rudeus's request to join the fight against Laplace, citing his possession and tribal duties. The plague was later identified as Drain Syndrome and cured by Cliff Grimoire, freeing Ruijerd from Vita's influence. As a warrior, Ruijerd wields superhuman strength, capable of killing A-rank monsters with single strikes and blocking attacks from Sword God Gal Farion. His forehead gemstone, or Third Eye, functions as a mana-sensitive radar detecting hidden entities. He is a master of stealth and spear combat, utilizing a unique trident that sharpens and hardens with use; this spear originally belonged to his son, serving as a memento. His demonic physiology grants him an extended lifespan exceeding 500 years.
