Description
Shiori Ichinose, operating under the codename "Charisma," leads the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Special Division Heinous Crime Task Force 7th Unit as field commander. This 35-year-old human male boasts an IQ exceeding 150, granting him exceptional deductive abilities and observational skills that consistently uncover subtle anomalies others miss. His personality appears withdrawn, unmotivated, and antisocial, making his thought processes difficult to discern, a demeanor rooted in trauma following the loss of a previous partner. Despite his cynical exterior, he holds deep value for his comrades and maintains implicit trust within the unit.

Physically, he lacks stamina and strength compared to colleagues like Nanatsuki Seiji, tiring easily during demanding activities. His marksmanship presents a notable paradox: deliberate aiming consistently results in misses, while firing randomly or with closed eyes allows him to achieve seemingly impossible shots, an intrinsic inconsistency defining his combat skills.

His primary function involves interrogation and tactical analysis during field operations, leveraging his deductive capabilities to extract information from suspects and anticipate criminal actions. For instance, during a bank robbery, he deduced the presence of a mole among the hostages, identified the perpetrators as highly trained mercenaries, and pinpointed the mole by analyzing behavioral inconsistencies. This analytical prowess is crucial to unit operations.

His development involves gradually overcoming the detachment stemming from his partner's death. Interactions with unit members, particularly the idealistic Nanatsuki, challenge his cynicism. While maintaining a gruff exterior, he demonstrates increasing investment in team cohesion and mission success, revealing an underlying commitment to justice beneath his dismissive attitude.
