Kuku, also called Cy, forms one half of the cyclopian pair Clops and Cy, the youngest members of their clan. Cy serves as the eye, possessing a single large eye, while Clops functions as the mouth. Cy communicates primarily through minimal vocalizations, rarely speaking, leaving most verbal interaction to Clops. The pair share a symbiotic bond, allowing Cy to see through Clops's eye and enabling telepathic communication between them across significant distances.

Residing in the beast kingdom of Ozmargo, they are frequently present within the royal palace. Their unique abilities make them valuable informants for King Leonhart, often relaying observations gathered throughout the kingdom. They develop a supportive relationship with Sariphi after the king spares her life and names her his consort. During Sariphi's challenges to prove her worthiness as queen, Clops and Cy provide her with crucial information and guidance, aiding her navigation of beast politics and customs. Their roles remain consistent as supporting characters who utilize their unique connection to assist Sariphi and Leonhart.
