He is a lizardman, distinguished by his green skin, horns atop his head, and an imposing, towering stature that can appear unnerving even to his allies. Despite his intimidating physical presence, he carries himself with a calm, composed, and polite demeanor, addressing others with consistent respect. He is a deeply religious figure, following a faith that places great reverence on ancestors and teaches that by killing heretics, one can rise in rank and ultimately become a dragon. This belief drives his personal motivation to grow stronger and earn the title of a dragon through his deeds. He holds a profound care for nature, a core tenet of his religion.

The Lizard Priest first arrives in the Adventurers' Guild alongside a High Elf Archer and a Dwarf Shaman, having traveled after the elf heard a song that portrayed Goblin Slayer as a hero. He approaches Goblin Slayer with a request to eliminate a goblin nest that has been troubling the elves. Of the three who originally sought him out, the Lizard Priest is the only mortal. Once the mission is completed, he remains as a regular member of Goblin Slayer's adventuring party, contributing his unique abilities and perspective.

Within the party, he serves a vital role as a mediator and a voice of reason. He often steps in to calm conflicts between the hot-tempered Dwarf Shaman and the haughty High Elf Archer, offering apologies and steering the group back to focus. His calm judgment makes him a natural coordinator, often taking the lead in negotiations or deciding on fees when interacting with Goblin Slayer. He offers wise advice and leads prayers for the group. He can cast healing miracles to support his allies. His signature ability involves using a catalyst to summon Dragon Fang Soldiers, skeletal warriors that can fight or carry goods. He can also create Dragon Soldier Swords through his miracles. He chants incantations that reference ancient dragons and small dinosaurs like the Velociraptor, believing his ancestors to be dragons or dinosaur-like beings. This allows him to channel the fighting prowess of these legendary creatures, combining his faith with formidable combat power. He is also known for his immense physical strength, which Goblin Slayer has utilized in battle by having the Lizard Priest carry and throw him at enemies.
