Miko is a shy and easily frightened high school student, one of the main characters in the second story. Her friends, amused by her timid nature, often play pranks on her. Her more outgoing friend Nanako invites her to a slumber party where they watch horror videos. Despite her apprehension, Nanako persuades Miko to explore a nearby abandoned mansion rumored to be haunted, which is scheduled for demolition.

Inside the mansion, Miko experiences intense fear and vivid hallucinations. She sees a music box, a teddy bear, and other toys begin to bleed, followed by the entire room flooding with blood. A hideous ghost in a blue gown appears, capable of dismembering people with its gaze. Miko witnesses her friends being killed this way, then awakens in her bed believing it was a nightmare.

The next day at school, Miko notices Nanako and the two other girls bear unexplained scars on their limbs and necks. To determine if the events were connected to the mansion, the group returns to investigate. This decision leads to their deaths as the ghost kills them again. The narrative implies that Miko’s awakening may have been a dying dream or the fleeting escape of her soul at the moment of death.
