Description
Cancer Cell began as a normal cell that incurred a DNA replication error, causing a malformed mutation. Immune cells subsequently targeted and destroyed other nearby cancer cells. During its escape, a companion cancer cell slipped and was killed by pursuing immune cells, leaving this cell as the sole survivor. This event fostered deep resentment towards the immune system for perceived unjust persecution, igniting a desire for revenge against the body.

Initially evading detection, it proliferated unchecked. To infiltrate and manipulate, it adopted the disguise of a normal cell. It staged an attack by another cancer cell to gain the trust of immune cells U-1146, Killer T Cell, and Natural Killer Cell. Leading them to an apartment block under its control, where it had been creating clones, it then revealed its true form. It overpowered the immune cells using rapid shape-shifting and physical mutations. During the confrontation, it recounted its origin, expressing confusion and anger at being targeted despite its desire to live like other cells. As it prepared to metastasize and spread via wing growth, other immune cells arrived after a red blood cell alerted them. Natural Killer Cell, revitalized by laughter-induced β-endorphin release, inflicted a fatal wound. Before dissolution, it shared a final exchange with U-1146, acknowledging their conflicting roles but warning of its inevitable return.

The cell later reappeared in the intestines after its genetic data was leaked, enabling reconstruction. Empowered by toxins from harmful gut bacteria, it manipulated Regulatory T Cell into providing protection by misidentifying it as beneficial. It captured and interrogated U-1146 about cellular existence while fending off immune attacks. When lactic acid bacteria reduced harmful bacteria and their toxins, its power waned. Memory T Cell damaged its disguise, prompting Regulatory T Cell to recognize it as a threat and withdraw protection. U-1146 then delivered the fatal blow. In its final moments, it expressed a preference for dying by U-1146's hand over other immune cells.

Key abilities include combat proficiency against immune cells, shapeshifting to alter size and limb count, metastasis through wing growth for body-wide spread, regeneration of non-fatal injuries, and recurrence via genetic data reconstruction. Its strength increases in toxic environments rich in bacterial waste products.

Personality traits encompass high intelligence, manipulativeness, and ruthlessness in pursuing goals, including body-wide destruction. A tragic dimension exists, as its origin stemmed from forces beyond its control, coupled with a distorted desire for acceptance. It develops a specific fixation on U-1146 due to the neutrophil's willingness to acknowledge its existence, contrasting with other cells' hostility. Its complex motivation blends vengeance, existential despair, and a warped sense of purpose tied to its mutated nature.
