Description
Mitsuki Izumi, a 21-year-old member of IDOLiSH7 born March 3, stands 165 cm tall, making him the group's shortest member. He has blood type O, amber eyes, and short peach-colored hair parted on his right. His family runs the Fonte Chocolat bakery, and he is the older brother of fellow member Iori Izumi.

Inspired by the legendary idol Zero, Mitsuki dreamed of becoming an idol but faced repeated audition rejections, largely due to his height. This history fueled persistent self-doubt about his place in IDOLiSH7 and worth as an idol. His entry into the group occurred under specific circumstances: Iori was scouted by Otoharu Takanashi but agreed only if Mitsuki could audition alongside him as a brother duo. While initial lore suggested Mitsuki's entry depended on Iori, Otoharu later clarified Mitsuki was accepted based on his own talent.

Personality-wise, Mitsuki serves as IDOLiSH7's primary mood-maker and emcee. He is energetic, optimistic, and quick to repair group dynamics, often assuming an older-brother role. Despite his outward boisterousness and frequent smiles, he easily shifts to anger or self-consciousness, particularly regarding his popularity. He acts as the straight man (tsukkomi) in comedic interactions, especially within his sub-unit, the Pythagoras Trio with Yamato Nikaido and Nagi Rokuya. Industry recognition for his emceeing talent has moved him to tears, counterbalancing his self-esteem struggles.

His relationships highlight a nurturing nature. He typically initiates reconciliations after quarrels with Iori, whom he protects fiercely. He guided Nagi through summer heat acclimation for outdoor performances and taught Tamaki Yotsuba the principle "those who don’t work don’t eat," exchanging homemade cakes for shoe-washing favors. He shares regular outings with Momo, including comedy shows, and once saved Nagi and Riku from drowning using his swimming skills. His dynamic with Iori includes lingering sensitivity about comparisons—Iori is often seen as inheriting their parents' "good traits," while Mitsuki is told he resembles their grandmother.

Notable traits include proficiency in cooking with a food preparation license, a poor sense of direction, a dislike of heights, and daily stretching routines aimed at increasing his height—a fixation since age five. He sings frequently in the bathroom and can convincingly portray someone younger, a skill jokingly called one of his "devilish traits." During a group drama, he played a female home economics teacher due to casting constraints. He once confronted bullies alone to protect the group, resulting in injury. He successfully performed a tablecloth trick in one take during a Christmas drama, earning a spontaneous high-five from Tenn Kujo.
