Wang is Chief Advisor to Empress Azalyn of the Holy Raalgon Empire. He cloaks his true ambition – seizing the throne – behind a facade of loyalty. Possessing high intelligence and exceptional skill in court politics, Wang manipulates the Raalgon court, twisting opinions to serve his agenda. His pervasive influence compels Azalyn to comply with his suggestions to maintain stability, as opposing him risks plunging the empire into chaos.

After the assassination of Azalyn's parents, Wang exploits the tragedy, manipulating her into declaring the United Planets Space Force (UPSF) the enemy. This sparks widespread conflict causing significant casualties. When covert control proves inadequate for his ambitions, Wang resorts to direct violence. He attempts to assassinate Azalyn by detonating an explosive in her quarters, an attack that inadvertently places Captain Tylor in a coma.

Following Azalyn's return from the UPSF vessel *Soyokaze*, Wang manipulates her and the council into launching an assault on UPSF headquarters. This strategy aims to trigger full-scale war, bolstering his reputation as the conflict's chief proponent. When this fails, Wang orchestrates a more extreme scheme six months later: hiring Raalgon terrorists to attack Earth while simultaneously arranging for a third party to destroy Azalyn's home planet. This dual provocation is designed to incite mutual retaliation between the Raalgon Empire and the UPSF.

As tensions escalate, Wang launches a coup aboard the flagship *Melva*. He takes Empress Azalyn captive, seizes the throne by force, and declares an all-out attack on the UPSF fleet. Throughout these events, Captain Tylor consistently undermines Wang’s intricate plans, often through seemingly incidental actions. This repeated interference provokes intense rage in Wang, who grows to despise Tylor for thwarting his ambitions.
