Description
Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière is a noble mage from Tristain's prestigious Vallière family. A student at Tristain Academy of Magic, her consistent spellcasting failures earned her the nickname "Louise the Zero" for her zero percent success rate with conventional magic. She possesses long pink hair, pink eyes, and a petite stature, standing between 153-156 cm tall, typically dressed in the academy uniform: a white blouse, gray pleated skirt, black thigh-high socks, Mary Jane shoes, and a black cloak fastened with the school emblem.

Born on August 6 as the third daughter of Duke Sandorion de la Vallière and Karin de la Vallière, Louise shared a troubled relationship with her eldest sister Éléonore while deeply cherishing her second sister Cattleya. Her childhood bond with Princess Henrietta of Tristain proved significant later. During the mandatory academy familiar summoning ritual, Louise unexpectedly summoned Saito Hiraga, a human from modern-day Japan. Forced into a familiar contract through a ceremonial kiss, Saito became bound to her as Gandálfr, marked by runes. Louise initially treated Saito harshly as a lowly servant, punishing disobedience physically. Their relationship evolved from mutual resentment into profound romantic devotion, marked by Louise's intense jealousy when Saito interacted with other women.

Louise's magical struggles stemmed from a rare affinity for Void magic, a potent ancient system distinct from elemental magic. Her Void spells included Explosion, Dispel, Teleport, Illusion, World Door (enabling interdimensional travel), and Total Annihilation. These formidable abilities required lengthy incantations and drew power from intense negative emotions like anger or jealousy. Mastering Void magic made her a strategic asset in conflicts, including wartime efforts and missions such as rescuing her ally Tabitha from political imprisonment in Gallia. To prevent implicating Tristain in this operation, Louise renounced her noble status, symbolically surrendering her cape to Henrietta.

Henrietta later adopted Louise as her sister, naming her heir presumptive and Crown Princess of Tristain, granting significant political influence, though Louise prioritized personal loyalties over court duties. Her journey culminated in marriage to Saito, after which she adopted the name Louise Françoise le Blanc de Hiraga de Ornielle. This union solidified their partnership: Saito served as her protective knight using his rune-enhanced combat skills, while she provided magical support.

Louise exhibited a complex personality: outwardly proud, temperamental, and prone to violent outbursts—especially towards Saito—but inwardly selfless, courageous, and fiercely loyal. Early insecurities from magical failures and physical comparisons gradually gave way to confidence as she embraced her Void abilities and accepted Saito's unwavering devotion. Key traits included a strong sense of justice, adherence to noble principles, and a refusal to retreat from adversaries, captured in her declaration: "You don't call someone a noble because they use magic! You call someone a noble who never shows her back to the enemy!"
