Description
Louise Françoise le Blanc de la Vallière, third daughter of Tristain's aristocratic Vallière family, attended Tristain Academy of Magic as a second-year student. Persistently failing conventional elemental spells—each attempt triggering explosive mishaps—she earned the derisive moniker "Louise the Zero." This inability concealed her dormant affinity for the legendary Void element, a rare and potent magic lost to most of Halkeginia. Her magical failures bred profound insecurity and peer ostracization, prompting her to mask vulnerability with haughty pride befitting her noble status.

During a mandatory familiar ritual, Louise accidentally summoned Saito Hiraga, a human teenager from Tokyo, Japan. A sealing kiss bound him as her familiar, branding his left hand with Gandálfr runes that marked him as the "Left Hand of God"—a protector destined for a Void mage. She initially treated Saito as a subservient creature, forcing him to sleep on straw, perform menial chores, and endure whippings or explosion spells for perceived disobedience or lechery. Their relationship formed under duress, with Louise exhibiting extreme jealousy when Saito interacted with women like rival Kirche von Zerbst or maid Siesta. Her disproportionate violence stemmed from insecurities and unacknowledged feelings.

Discovering her Void magic heritage catalyzed Louise’s transformation. She learned she descended from Brimir, Halkeginia’s founder, wielding spells like Explosion, Dispel, Teleport, and World Door. This magic demanded intense concentration and lengthy incantations, rendering her a Glass Cannon—devastatingly powerful yet vulnerable mid-casting. Crucially, her spells drew strength from negative emotions like anger or jealousy, leaving her impotent when content. This dependency complicated her dynamic with Saito, as his interactions could inadvertently empower or cripple her abilities.

Louise’s loyalty to Tristain and childhood friend Princess Henrietta—whom she served as a lady-in-waiting—shaped her growth. Key exploits included missions for Henrietta and rescuing classmate Tabitha from political imprisonment in Gallia, an act that led Louise to renounce her nobility to avert international conflict. Henrietta adopted her as a sister in recognition, naming her heir presumptive to Tristain’s throne. Louise also thwarted threats like Albion’s invasion and the Ancient Dragon, often alongside Saito.

Her relationship with Saito evolved from mutual hostility to deep romantic love, though marked by volatility. Jealousy and violent outbursts waned as she acknowledged her feelings, culminating in marriage. Post-wedding, she adopted the name Louise Françoise le Blanc de Hiraga de Ornielle and used World Door to visit Saito’s world, Japan. Family dynamics were complex: she idolized gentle elder sister Cattleya, clashed with strict eldest sister Éléonore, and respected mother Karin—the legendary mage "Heavy Wind."

Louise possessed long curly pink hair and pink eyes, standing 153–156 cm tall. Her academy attire included a white blouse, gray pleated skirt, thigh-high black stockings, Mary Jane shoes, and a bronze-clasped black cloak. Beyond the academy, she wore plebeian disguises or mission-specific outfits like a bustier-style maid uniform. Her small bust size fueled chronic insecurity—contrasting with peers and intensifying her A-Cup Angst.

From bullied student to confident Void mage and political figure, Louise balanced noble obligations with devotion to Saito. Her defiance of dogma in magic, nobility, and relationships underscored resilience, while her explosive temper and possessiveness endured as defining, albeit softening, traits.
