Her father's resulting sadness drove her commitment to freeing Eldians from persecution before her term ended. Physically short with long, disheveled black hair, a Greek nose, and relaxed eyes, she typically wears a white blouse, trench coat, ankle-length skirt, lace-up boots, and the mandated Eldian armband. Sustaining her Titan form for two months straight during the Marley-Mid East War resulted in the loss of full leg mobility; she often uses a crutch or walks on all fours privately, finding it natural. On missions like the Paradis Island infiltration, she disguised herself in Survey Corps attire. Her quadrupedal Cart Titan stands 4 meters tall on all fours, featuring an elongated face, full lips, and a large nose. Its long, flat torso transports supplies and it is frequently outfitted with custom armor, machine guns, or artillery. Highly intelligent and perceptive, Pieck quickly deduces complex situations like Zeke Yeager's reliance on the Tybur family. While loyal to Marley, she privately critiques its leadership for flawed strategies and worries about Eldia's future against advancing technology. She prioritizes comrades' well-being, showing kindness like providing alcohol to Colt Grice. Eccentric traits include curling on sofas "like a cat" and crawling on all fours unobserved. Her involvement starts with the Paradis Island Operation. Five years in, she transported supplies for Zeke Yeager while Marleyan soldiers transformed villagers. During the Battle of Shiganshina, she scouted for the Survey Corps, supplied the Beast Titan with projectiles, covertly carried Bertolt Hoover, rescued the dismembered Zeke, and extracted Reiner Braun. In the Marley arc, she fought in the Battle of Fort Slava. Commander Magath held her back initially due to anti-Titan artillery; once cleared, she engaged with armored machine guns alongside Porco Galliard's Jaw Titan. The prolonged combat necessitated her crutch. Later, during Willy Tybur's festival, a suspicious soldier lured her and Galliard into a pit. Rescued by her Panzer Unit, she armed her Titan and coordinated against Eren Yeager's assault, recognizing ODM gear from Paradis. She later joined the Alliance opposing Eren's Rumbling, partly to honor fallen comrades like Galliard and Bertolt.
