Description
Cinnamon is a male puppy character from the Sanrio franchise, debuting in 2002. Born on March 6th high on a cloud, he accidentally fell to Earth, landing in a delivery basket for Café Cinnamon owned by Ms. Anna. Discovering him, Anna adopted the puppy, naming him "Cinnamon" after his distinct tail shaped like a cinnamon roll, beginning his life at the café.

Physically, Cinnamon is a small, chubby puppy with white fur, blue eyes, pink cheeks, and exceptionally long ears that allow him to fly. His defining feature is his plump, curly tail resembling a baked cinnamon roll. Official specifications list him at 21.5 cm tall, with ears measuring 13.5 cm, making him one of Sanrio's smallest characters.

Personality-wise, Cinnamon is shy yet pure-hearted and helpful. Gentle by nature, he often naps on customers' laps at Café Cinnamon, where he serves as the official mascot. He enjoys flying adventures around town with friends and shares a strong fondness for cinnamon rolls. Despite his timid demeanor, he demonstrates courage and loyalty when friends face challenges.

His social circle includes fellow puppies Chiffon, Mocha, Espresso, Cappuccino, and Milk, all residing near Café Cinnamon. Mocha harbors a crush on him, while Chiffon is occasionally depicted as a romantic interest in supplementary media like manga. Milk, the youngest, idolizes Cinnamon and frequently imitates him. Cinnamon also owns a stuffed toy comfort object named "Bear" (Kuma-san).

His primary narrative unfolds in "Cinnamon the Movie" (2007). Shortly after his arrival, a magical creature named Chowder witnesses his descent. Mistaking Cinnamon for a threat, Chowder casts spells targeting him, which backfire. These spells transport Cinnamon and his friends to a mysterious candy-themed realm where they must rescue Ms. Anna. She has been imprisoned in a castle by an entity attempting to force her into marriage. This adventure highlights Cinnamon's growth from an adopted puppy into a proactive protector, using his flying ability and teamwork to overcome obstacles. Chowder and Ms. Anna are exclusive to this film.

Beyond the film, Cinnamon's sky-born origins and life at the café are consistently revisited in media like manga and animation shorts. His design history notes early conceptualization as a rabbit, later revised to a puppy to accommodate his flying mechanics and distinctive appearance. He has not undergone significant alterations or additional developmental arcs in spin-offs or other official media beyond his established traits and the events of the film.
