Nagisa Kai is a high school student dreaming of professional wrestling. Her ordinary life shatters when the robotic Iczel selects her as a partner to combat alien invaders Chaos and Cross. Merging with the Iczel transforms her into the warrior Iczelion. Nagisa reacts with extreme reluctance, actively avoiding the responsibility and expressing fear during confrontations, desperate to preserve her normal existence.

Forced into battle, she instinctively employs wrestling techniques like dropkicks, neck jabs, and backdrops. This unconventional approach clashes with her Iczel's preference for energy attacks. Early conflicts reveal her cowardice; she flees enemies, panics, and requires repeated rescues from fellow Iczelions Nami (Black), Kiiro (Gold), and Kawai (Silver). Persistent fear and lack of commitment result in unstable synchronization with her Iczel.

Witnessing others endangered by the invaders, particularly during Cross's assaults, triggers a decisive shift. Nagisa actively chooses to fight, effectively utilizing her wrestling skills to execute a decisive dropkick and backdrop that defeats Cross. This act of courage solidifies her synchronization, unlocking the temporary Burst Acceleration Mode. Her motivation evolves from self-preservation to protecting comrades and Earth. By the narrative's conclusion, she fully embraces her identity as Iczelion, declaring readiness to continue fighting alongside the others.

Her character arc centers on overcoming personal fears and accepting unexpected responsibilities. While maintaining her wrestling-inspired combat style, she integrates more seamlessly into the team. Her relationship with the Iczel evolves from contentious bickering to a functional partnership.
