Description
Nagisa Kasumi is a fourteen-year-old girl living on a lunar colony who works part-time as a fast-food delivery girl. She shares a close friendship with her coworker and best friend Kawai Shizuka. When alien forces under Neos Gold attack the moonbase, Nagisa demonstrates selflessness by offering herself as a hostage after Kawai is captured. This act leads to her rescue by the gynoid Iczer-3, and from that point she becomes a key participant in the war against the invaders.
As Iczer-3's partner, Nagisa develops a powerful telepathic bond with the android. She also begins experiencing strange dreams that turn out to be inherited memories from her grandmother, Nagisa Kanou, who was the partner of the earlier gynoid Iczer-1. This hereditary connection reveals that Nagisa Kasumi carries her grandmother's strong emotional capacity, which becomes a vital resource in battle. Her emotional state serves as a key to powering the giant robot Iczer Robo, though the underlying energy source is later identified as Iczelio Energy.
Nagisa acts as a guardian and emotional anchor for Iczer-3, helping the inexperienced gynoid mature and channel her abilities. When Iczer-1 arrives on Earth, Nagisa instinctively recognizes her, and Iczer-1 in turn knows Nagisa well due to the intimate bond with her grandmother. Nagisa's compassion extends even to the antagonist clone Atros, whom she attempts to sway to the side of the heroes, showing her capacity for empathy and forgiveness.
