Shaman serves as the Japanese designation for the character internationally known as Nemus, specifically denoting his evolved form, Mega Nemus. This Haos-attribute Bakugan acts as the guardian partner to Baron Leltoy, a young Vestal resistance fighter opposing the Vexos occupation of New Vestroia. Visually, Mega Nemus presents as an armored humanoid figure incorporating Egyptian-inspired design elements. Key features include two disc-like structures mounted on his back that launch via a spear mechanism, protective armor shielding against elemental attacks, and a crown embedded with four yellow stones possessing destructive power. Mega Nemus first appears battling alongside Blade Tigrerra against Spectra Phantom's Viper Helios during the initial Vestal invasion. Despite employing his defensive ability, Skid Rowa, Blade Tigrerra is captured after sacrificing herself to protect him from Helios's General Quasar attack. This loss initially impacts Baron's confidence, causing hesitant performance in later battles. However, during a critical match against Vexos member Shadow Prove, Mega Nemus directly communicates with Baron, bolstering his courage. This enables them to overcome fear, secure victory, and free three captive Bakugan. Throughout the conflict, Mega Nemus participates in significant engagements. He engages in an interrupted training battle against Neo Dragonoid where his Skid Rowa blocks Drago's Burning Dragon attack. During the resistance's first mission to Earth, he and Baron's Bakugan Trap Piercian defeat Vexos member Lync Volan, destroying the Altair dimension controller. He also contributes to destroying the Beta City dimension controller by battling alongside Dan and Neo Dragonoid against Shadow Prove's Hades and Mylene Farrow's Aquos Elico, later directly facing Mega Brontes to distract Volt Luster. His combat prowess is further demonstrated when Baron achieves victory over Volt in subsequent encounters, earning mutual respect. In a non-combat role, he rescues Baron from falling off the sky palace while in ball form. Mega Nemus wields a diverse arsenal focused on energy manipulation and control. Key Ability Cards include Skid Rowa (defensive shield), Raven Lore (transferring 100 Gs from opponents), Shade Cocoon (preventing opponent ability activation), Spark Roa (transferring 300 Gs), Corona Hole (subtracting 300 Gs), Bolting Arrow (halving opponent power), Shade Ring (reflecting opponent abilities), and Ancient Glow (transferring 200 Gs). His Fusion Ability, Flow Skylight (Holy Skylight in Japanese), allows him to swap G-Power with an opponent under specific conditions requiring Shade Cocoon's activation and a minimum 500 Gs difference. Video game depictions grant him additional abilities: Burning Light, White Flurry, Light Shield, and Light Arrow. A pivotal transformation occurs during the Twelve Degrees of Destruction event. Mega Nemus receives Attribute Energy from Lars Lion, one of the Six Ancient Soldiers of Vestroia, triggering his evolution into Saint Nemus. Physical game representations show variations in power levels (Gs) across attributes and releases: Haos versions range from 400G to 520G, Subterra versions feature 500G or 540G, Pyrus has 520G, and the Ventus BakuFrost variant reaches 570G. Design differences exist between media; the video game depicts his arms attached to the rings on his back, a feature absent in the anime, a trait shared with Mega Brontes. His ball form also bears a strong resemblance to Mega Brontes.
