Description
Beat is a hot-blooded, righteous anthropomorphic fox serving as rival to protagonist Zorori. He operates as a jack-of-all-trades, respected in his community for aiding police and running "Beat Camp," where he trains children and adults. His fierce sense of justice physically manifests as steam erupting from his tail during criminal pursuits.

Raised by his grandfather Nick, Beat took charge of Beat Camp after Nick's unexplained disappearance; his parents remain unmentioned. Initially perceiving Zorori in stark terms of good versus evil, Beat dedicates himself to capturing Zorori and reforming him into a lawful citizen while striving to uncover his true nature. This rigid perspective fuels internal conflict regarding Zorori's ambiguous moral alignment.

Physically, Beat has orange fur, a brown pompadour hairstyle, green eyes, thick eyebrows, and defined eyelashes. He wears a teal vest over a yellow t-shirt, red gloves, a red bandana, teal pants, a brown belt with his personal logo, and brown boots. He carries a sling bag holding specialized anti-crime equipment: Justice Rope for restraint, Justice Gel for immobilization, Super Scissors for utility, Justice Ball for capture, and Justice Hand for apprehension.

Beat's dynamic with Zorori evolves significantly across the series. Early confrontations define season 1 episodes like "Zorori vs. the Hot-Blooded Beat" and season 2's "The Terrifying Beat Camp." By season 2's end, he develops mutual respect for Zorori, increasingly collaborating in necessary situations. This continues in season 3 episodes like "Why!? Beat's Tears" and "Zorori vs Gaon vs Beat," featuring more frequent cooperative efforts despite underlying tensions. Beat also appears in the film "Kaiketsu Zorori Movie: Lalala♪ Star Tanjou," maintaining his supporting role.

His fundamental drive remains consistent: to create a better world and spread happiness through his actions, though his methods and alliances demonstrate increased flexibility over time.
