Description
Dolly emerges as an abandoned doll discovered by Anpanman during preparations for the Star Festival, an annual event celebrating the celestial forces that grant life. A wandering Star of Life—a cosmic entity tasked with animating living beings—accidentally awakens her to consciousness. She revels in a whimsical existence at first, embracing playfulness as life’s defining purpose. This carefree worldview fractures when her Star begins to fade, plunging her into an existential struggle to retain vitality. Concurrently, Baikinman’s creation of a towering robot, modeled after his own origin myth, escalates external threats. The narrative follows her gradual reckoning with existence beyond mere amusement, though her final resolution remains undefined. Her relationships, particularly with Anpanman, underscore themes of life’s ephemeral nature and the pursuit of meaning.
