Description
Kinu Fukushima navigates her role as a mecha pilot with a quiet, hesitant presence, her shyness and fragile self-assurance manifesting in teary reactions during conflicts or pressure. Rooted in a severed spiritual connection, her withdrawn nature traces back to a disrupted ability to commune with spirits—a supernatural gift that once enabled her to pilot the unmanned combat machine Masanori. This yellow-orange mecha, armed with a firearm, operated through her psychic link to the spirit world.

Her past intertwines with a fiercely assertive tomboyish friend, their friendship tempered by clashes born of contrasting temperaments. A defining crisis emerged when her powers destabilized catastrophically, requiring an intimate intervention to sever her spiritual bonds and avert disaster. This incident revealed both the fragility of her gifts and her reliance on others for emotional and operational equilibrium.

Voodoo dolls served as her tools of choice, wielded for symbolic acts or practical manipulation, such as piercing them to compel behavior. Social interactions amplified her self-doubt, her timid silence stark against bolder peers in group environments. Yet in pivotal battles, she mustered resolve, aiding allies against threats despite her anxieties.

Black pigtails frame her bespectacled face, golden eyes peering through lenses, while a military uniform—complete with cap and gloves—signals her duty. Though her family history remains unaddressed, her arc centers on incremental growth within a team framework, balancing personal insecurities with the demands of piloting Masanori in a structured, high-stakes environment.
