Description
Kyoko, elder sister to Shoko, served as the previous Equuleus Saintia, a female warrior devoted to Athena. Trained in martial arts from childhood by her father alongside Shoko, she dominated children's tournaments. A childhood argument caused Shoko to wander into the Eden of darkness, where an old woman linked to Eris tempted her with a golden apple. Kyoko intervened, saving Shoko from becoming Eris's vessel; Scorpio Milo rescued both sisters. This event drove Kyoko to become a Saint. She departed for rigorous training abroad under the Graad Foundation, leaving Shoko a Pegasus pendant as a promise to return.
After five years, Kyoko returned as the Equuleus Saintia, clad in the Bronze Cloth. She protected Shoko from Dryads at Meteor Academy, revealing her role as a Saintia and Athena's existence. Later, at the Kido mansion, she tearfully reunited with Shoko. That night, the Dryad leader Ruin Atë attacked the mansion. Kyoko fought to defend her sister and Athena but was defeated. As Atë tried to force Eris into Shoko, Kyoko sacrificed herself, intercepting the possession to become Eris's new host. She vanished, leaving her Cloth behind.
As Eris's vessel, Kyoko lost control of her body but retained her consciousness. When Eris confronted Athena, Kyoko's cosmos resonated with her former Cloth and Shoko, allowing her to briefly dominate. She urged Shoko to protect Athena and resisted Eris. Later, trapped within Eris's temple during a battle involving Scorpio Milo and Orion Rigel, Kyoko seized control again. She begged Milo to destroy her along with Eris to end the threat. Milo complied, unleashing his Antares attack on Eris while she inhabited Kyoko's body. The temple collapsed; Kyoko's ultimate fate remains unspecified.
Kyoko mastered the Equuleus Ryūsei Ken technique, unleashing hundreds of star-charged punches akin to the Pegasus Ryūsei Ken. Her combat style, emphasizing speed and resilience, was forged during her five-year Saintia training. She demonstrated unwavering loyalty to Athena and profound protectiveness toward Shoko, consistently prioritizing their safety over her own survival.
