They settled in Delsolant, where Akari became their primary income source through guild odd jobs while Toru remained idle. Her patience with his lack of motivation wore thin, prompting her to threaten drastic measures unless he worked. This changed when they met Chaika Trabant, a silver-haired wizard carrying a coffin, who hired them to collect the scattered remains of Emperor Arthur Gaz. Despite initial concerns about the mission's dangers, Akari joined Toru in accompanying Chaika.

Akari possesses a tall, athletic build, thick green hair styled in a bulbous ponytail, and blue eyes. Her typical attire includes a pink mini skirt, a shoulderless top with a low neckline, matching pink stockings, white knee-length boots with brown accents, and a yellow knife holder strapped behind her. She is rarely without her primary weapon: a comblade sledgehammer featuring a retractable handle and a spiked head. Her tactical proficiency extends to trap-setting using near-invisible twine. During the quest for Gaz's remains, she faced conflicts with former allies, including her mentor Shin Acura, revealing hesitation when confronting those she once considered family. In one incident, Grad Lancia magically compelled her to hunt Toru; conscious during the ordeal and unable to resist the hypnotic command, she retained her memories afterward. Throughout the journey, her loyalty to Toru and commitment to Chaika's mission remained unwavering, even when encountering other Chaika clones challenging their goals.
