Description
Randy Rand, also known by the nickname Buddy, is the central child character of the anime BuBu ChaCha. He is a three-year-old boy who lives in Greenhill Town with his parents. His background is shaped by the bond he shares with his pet dog, ChaCha. When Randy is nearly struck by a car, ChaCha saves him and dies in the process. That same night, ChaCha returns to Randy in the form of a living yellow toy car, and the two keep this miracle as their private secret. From that point on, Randy and ChaCha are inseparable and spend their days having adventures together.
Randy's defining trait is his strong curiosity. Everything he sees interests him, and the prospect of learning about anything excites him.
