Roze hails from a Gishin colony, not the imperial homeworld, and holds unwavering loyalty to Emperor Zuul. Assigned as Marg's handler following his brainwashing, her duty is to monitor him and reinforce his conditioning whenever suppressed memories resurface, ensuring his control for the Gishin leadership. When an order she issues unintentionally exposes a Gishin base, drawing Zuul's wrath, Marg intervenes to save her. This act sparks genuine loyalty and affection towards Marg, conflicting with her original mission. After Marg regains his memories, Roze accidentally causes his death during a confrontation, triggering a personal crisis that drives her to become a death seeker; she repeatedly attempts to kill Takeru, seeking either revenge or her own demise.

This crisis initiates a redemption arc fueled by her feelings for Marg and Takeru, growing disillusionment with the Gishin empire's tyranny, and unresolved conflict with her sister Rui, who joined the resistance. This culminates in a heel–face turn where she abandons her Gishin allegiance. To covertly protect Takeru without alerting Gishin forces, she adopts the disguise of "The Rose Knight," operating as a mysterious protector. She later formally joins the Earth defense forces, specifically the Cosmo Crusher team, accompanying them to confront Emperor Zuul on Gishin. Following Zuul's defeat, she remains on Gishin to aid in the planet's reconstruction rather than returning to Earth.
