Gale Gibson, a Summoned Otherworlder originally brought to the Central World by the Western Nations, was deemed a failure for lacking a Unique Skill. This resulted in a perilous Magicule overflow, shortening his lifespan. He was sent to Freedom Academy to live out his remaining days among similarly afflicted children: Kenya Misaki, Ryota Sekiguchi, Alice Rondo, and Chloe Aubert.
As the oldest and tallest in Class S, Gale displays a calm, mature demeanor. His cautious and observant nature made him immediately suspicious upon meeting Rimuru. Among the Otherworlder children, he frequently acts as the voice of reason and an older brother figure, offering guidance and stability.
He possesses a finely handsome appearance and a well-toned physique. Following Shizu's departure and death, he and his classmates rejected subsequent teachers, gaining a troublesome reputation until Rimuru became their mentor. During a spar with Rimuru, his magic bullet attack proved ineffective.
To save their lives from Magicule instability, Rimuru escorted Gale and his Class S peers to the Dwelling of the Elementals in the Jura-Tempest Federation. There, he merged with an artificial greater earth elemental through a ritual, successfully reducing his Magicule levels to non-lethal amounts. After this, Rimuru gifted him new clothing crafted by Shuna.
He later attended Tempest's Founding Festival with his classmates. Following the festival, Gale and the other Class S members permanently relocated to the Jura-Tempest Federation to continue their education under the nation's protection, embarking on a journey of adaptation and growth within their new environment.
