Description
Zaza, also known as Koko or Al Molybdenum, is a human male infant discovered washed ashore in a cradle on a riverbank within the Forest of Okoya by a Mythical Pokémon Zarude. Separated from his parents, the infant was adopted by the Zarude, named Dada, who defied his tribe's laws forbidding human presence near their Great Tree home. Dada left the tribe and raised Zaza in jungle isolation, fostering a feral upbringing.

Over ten jungle-raised years, Zaza grew convinced he was a Pokémon, developing physical traits like dreadlock-style hair and typically wearing only a loincloth. He mastered exceptional survival skills: tree-surfing using vines, enhanced agility, and parkour. Fluent in Pokémon communication, his human speech remained fragmented during initial encounters. He constantly wore a pendant later identified as belonging to his biological mother, Phossa Molybdenum.

Zaza's self-perception shattered upon meeting Ash Ketchum and Pikachu near Milyfa Town. Knocked unconscious by a pipeline accident and rescued by Ash, Zaza fled the unfamiliar Pokémon Center upon waking. Ash deduced Zaza believed himself a Pokémon after witnessing him pacify a frenzied Drednaw. Ash introduced Zaza to human society in Milyfa Town, providing clothing and demonstrating human-Pokémon bonds, prompting Zaza to question his identity.

Confronting Dada about his origins, Zaza learned the truth. Dada revealed his human heritage and led him to an abandoned laboratory containing an infant photograph of Zaza with his biological parents, Chrom and Phossa Molybdenum. Distraught, Zaza fled, later finding a Biotope Company wallet at the lab. Ash accompanied him to Biotope headquarters, where leader Dr. Zed identified him as Al Molybdenum, claiming his parents died in a car accident ten years prior. A scan of Zaza's pendant revealed corrupted data hinting at the Great Tree's location. Grief-stricken, Zaza retreated to the jungle, carrying an unnoticed tracking device planted by Zed.

Zed's team invaded the Great Tree with mechanized equipment to extract its healing waters. Zaza and Ash attempted to intervene but were captured. Following an unintended escape aided by Team Rocket, Zaza confronted Zed, who confessed to murdering Chrom and Phossa when they refused to exploit the Great Tree, staging their deaths. During the battle, Dada suffered critical injuries defending the jungle. Unconsciously, Zaza channeled the jungle's latent energy, manifesting healing abilities that revived Dada. United with the Zarude tribe and wild Pokémon, they disabled Zed's machinery. Zaza captured Zed using vines, leading to his arrest.

Post-conflict, Zaza chose to explore human society while maintaining jungle ties, embracing his dual identity as both human and Zarude. He departed carrying the photograph of his parents, symbolizing his commitment to bridging humans and Pokémon. Dada created a farewell geyser from the healing springs. A Shiny Celebi appeared at the Great Tree, observing the restored harmony.
