Chypre is a fairy guardian born from the Tree of Hearts in the Heartcatch Pretty Cure! series. Witnessing Cure Moonlight's defeat alongside fellow fairy Coffret, they embarked on a quest to find a new protector, leading them to Hanasaki Tsubomi, granddaughter of Cure Flower. After Tsubomi displayed courage protecting Erika Kurumi and the fairies from a Desertrian, Chypre entrusted her with a Heart Perfume and guided her transformation into Cure Blossom. Chypre then lived with Tsubomi, disguised as a toy around her family. She frequently offered advice during Tsubomi's moments of self-doubt, acting as an older sister figure. Her duties included summoning Cure Blossom's Heart Seed for transformations. During the final battle against Dune, Chypre traveled with the team to the Castle Planet, helped free Tsubomi's grandmother Kaoruko (Cure Flower), and assisted in distracting Professor Sabaku. Following Dune's defeat, she reported the Tree of Hearts was regrowing. In Pretty Cure All Stars New Stage: Mirai no Tomodachi, Chypre appeared among the mascots celebrating Fusion's initial defeat. She participated in detecting and containing Fusion's scattered remnants. When Fusion's spawn began consuming food, Chypre joined the other mascots attempting to chase it away, resulting in Chiffon trapping one fragment in a bottle. Later, Chypre aided in distributing Miracle Lights across the city to empower the Pretty Cure teams battling the reborn Fusion. Chypre speaks with refreshing honesty, openly voicing her thoughts while showing deep concern for others. She maintains a respectful relationship with Coffret, collaborating without conflict, and acts as an elder sibling figure to Potpourri. Her abilities include transforming into a flight cape for Cure Blossom, providing durability sufficient to deflect energy attacks.
