Bronya Alexeievna Zaychik, born August 18, 2000, in Siberia, was orphaned during regional chaos following the 2000 Honkai incident. Trained as a child soldier and assassin, her lethal efficiency earned her the title "Silver Wolf of the Urals." A mission to assassinate Cocolia failed, resulting in Bronya's adoption by Cocolia and upbringing in her orphanage. There, Bronya forged a deep bond with Seele Vollerei, promising to visit the sea together. After another orphan, Sin Mal, pushed Bronya down stairs, crippling her legs, Seele volunteered for the dangerous Project X-10 experiment in her place. The experiment failed, trapping Seele in a quantum state. Bronya then threatened suicide to force Cocolia to let her undergo X-10. Within the quantum realm, Bronya encountered Seele, vowed to rescue her, received the combat mecha "Project Bunny 19C" as a gift, and shared a kiss solidifying their pledge. Prolonged Honkai exposure during the experiment destroyed Bronya's limbic system, eliminating her capacity for emotion, and necessitated prosthetic legs for mobility. Bronya possesses silver-gray hair styled in drill ponytails with ribbons, gray eyes, and a petite stature. She relies on advanced prosthetics, often floating. Her primary weapon is Project Bunny 19C, deploying heavy artillery like cannons or lasers. Neurologically incapable of overt emotion, she presents as stoic and deadpan. She refers to herself in the third person as "The Bronya" and uses detached terms like "subject" for others, excepting Seele and Raiden Mei. Subtle expressions emerge through dry sarcasm—like calling Kiana Kaslana "Idiotka"—and fierce loyalty to trusted individuals. Her background drives key traits: competitiveness in video games, deep attachment to the HOMU franchise, and strategic prowess in finance and technology, evident in stock-trading and hacking. She views Raiden Mei as an older sister, willing to sacrifice for her. Her unwavering commitment to Seele motivates many actions. In "Cooking With Valkyries," Bronya's traits adapt comedically. Her emotionless demeanor contrasts absurd situations, like culinary disasters caused by literal recipe interpretations. She keeps a secret stash of canned beef under her bed, reflecting pragmatic survival instincts. The series highlights her deadpan humor reacting to others' exaggerated emotions during cooking. While social interactions remain restrained, rare moments—like light laughter during meals—hint at latent emotion. Relationships persist, notably her protective dynamic with Mei and playful rivalry with Kiana. Her development shows incremental emotional growth, particularly after becoming the Herrscher of Reason repaired her neurological damage, restoring full emotional expression and eliminating the need for prosthetics. However, "Cooking With Valkyries" primarily uses her pre-recovery state for humor, emphasizing stoicism and idiosyncratic habits without incorporating later lore.
