Description
Roa Kirishima sports light green spiky hair forming a distinctive "T" shape on his forehead and striking purple eyes. His signature attire includes a dark magenta t-shirt displaying a light purple crossed sword symbol, two light purple wristbands, black pants adorned with purple ribbons wrapped around the shins, and black shoes.

Outwardly projecting an image as an altruistic, optimistic, and confident band leader devoted to his fans, Roa's true nature harbors significant arrogance, opportunism, and conceit. He openly declares his ambition to take over Rush Dueling, rebranding it "RoaRush Duel," and readily employs underhanded tactics to win. He manipulates his cousin, Romin Kassidy, by feigning friendship to gather intelligence on Yuga Ohdo and Rush Duels. This manipulation includes orchestrating a trap to disqualify Yuga by exploiting the perceived illegality of "Sevens Road Magician." Despite his deceptive methods, Roa demonstrates genuine dueling skill when fully focused.

Roa's history involves early surveillance of Yuga Ohdo. He received photos of Yuga from Romin, expressing interest in Rush Dueling, and witnessed a small Goha Corp tournament where Otes was disqualified for possessing "Sevens Road Magician." This disqualification was later revealed to stem from Otes's Goha employee status, not the card's legality.

As a duelist, Roa wields a "Royal Demon's" Deck. His primary strategy exploits Rush Duel rules to deplete his opponent's deck by forcing discards and excessive draws, aiming for deck-out losses. He notably used this tactic against Yuga to increase the chances of Yuga drawing the supposedly illegal "Sevens Road Magician." His deck features high-level monsters gaining enhanced effects when tributed using other high-level monsters. The "King" series of Spell/Trap cards reflects his self-proclaimed title of "Duel King."

Roa's duel record includes significant matches. He suffered early losses to Yuga Ohdo and Romin Kassidy but achieved victories against opponents like Getta Taira, Mimi Imimi, Yuka Goha, and Asana Mutsuba. He later secured a win against Yuga Ohdo in episodes 84-85, though he lost to Lucidien "Luke" Kallister in episode 63.

His character development shifts from initial antagonism and underhanded tactics toward greater legitimacy and cooperation. Following his defeat by Romin, his methods become less deceitful. During the Team Battle Royal Arc, he collaborates with rivals such as Nail Saionji and Asana Mutsuba to support Yuga, contributing a Maximum card for Yuga's use and participating in a new summoning chant. This evolution culminates in his integration into the expanded Rush Duel Club alongside former adversaries.
