TV-Series
Description
Oscar is the Guardian of Fire within the Queen's cosmic system, embodying the sacrea of fire, strength, military affairs, destruction, and creation. He originated on a plains planet, born into a soldier's family with parents and siblings. Summoned at age seventeen, he formally became Guardian at eighteen, a lifelong role that separated him from his past life due to temporal differences between the Holy Land and other worlds.

He possesses fiery red hair, ice-blue eyes, stands 189 cm (6'2"), and weighs 79 kg (174 lbs). His interests include swordsmanship, especially fencing, darts, billiards, roulette, lure fishing, and armor collecting. He favors ethnic dishes like tom yum koong and cappuccino but dislikes green peas, mayonnaise, and white sauce.

Oscar exhibits a passionate, active, and flirtatious personality, often described as a playboy who openly expresses affection. He idealizes women, particularly those displaying a blend of resilience and vulnerability. He shares a close friendship with Julious, the Guardian of Light, and maintains a contentious relationship with Lumiale, the Guardian of Water.

Throughout the franchise, Oscar's background and interactions remain consistent. In the earlier OVA series chronicling Queen Angelique Limoges's ascension, he supports her during her Queen Examination as one of the nine Guardians, aiding in developing her continent. A concluded romantic relationship with Angelique ended when she prioritized her queenly duties, a sacrifice later referenced in the television series as having no lingering emotional tension.

In the *Koi Suru Tenshi Angelique* television series, he guides the new protagonist, Ange. During the first season (*Kokoro no Mezameru Toki*), he encourages her to embrace her role as the Legendary Etoile, challenges her self-doubt, and takes her to a village festival where she performs a folk dance. His role in the second season (*Kagayaki no Ashita*) appears as a supporting figure within the Guardian ensemble. A DVD special episode set after the series features him in post-mission scenarios.
