Raised alongside Makoto and Adi under Hydra’s deceptive guidance, she was indoctrinated to believe the Avengers were villains while training under the false promise of becoming a hero. After uncovering Hydra’s malicious agenda, she rebelled with her companions, defecting to join the Avengers as apprentices and founding the fledgling Future Avengers. Her role centers on confronting threats like Hydra’s Emerald Rain Project and the Masters of Evil, all while refining her powers under the mentorship of veteran Avengers. During the second season’s escalating crises—Terrigen Mist awakening new superhumans, rising anti-Inhuman hostility, and volatile tensions between Earth and Attilan—Kuroe remains a key figure in the team’s efforts to stabilize fractures and prevent war.
