Description
Myu Nagumo is a young dagon girl distinguished by long wavy emerald-green hair and sky-blue eyes. Her aquatic physiology features fan-like fin ears and webbed hands and feet. She originally resided with her mother Remia, her biological father deceased prior to her birth. A pivotal event occurred during Hajime Nagumo's time in Fuhren, where he and Shea Haulia rescued her from kidnappers. This trauma forged her perception of Hajime as a father figure, shifting her address for him from "Onii-chan" to "Papa." Upon Hajime's marriage to Remia, Myu formally became his stepdaughter and was adopted by his companions: Yue, Shea, Tio Klarus, Kaori Shirasaki, Shizuku Yaegashi, Aiko Hatayama, and Liliana S.B. Heiligh.
Previously prone to spoiled conduct and tantrums, Myu underwent substantial maturation after her kidnapping, adopting a generally kind and obedient nature. She retains occasional spoiled inclinations toward Hajime. Influences from her adoptive family shaped diverse traits: Hajime’s otaku hobbies immersed her in anime and games like Monster Hunter; Shea’s recklessness inspired remote-controlled aircraft dogfights; Tio’s speech patterns birthed phrases like "Sexy Neglecting" for misconduct. She wields supernatural charisma, effortlessly befriending mythical creatures across worlds without magic. As a dagon, she relishes water activities, particularly floating in ocean currents. Trauma erased typical fears like ghosts but instilled permanent desert aversion. On Earth, she embraced militaristic behavior—issuing drill-sergeant commands and adopting Hajime’s "no mercy to enemies" philosophy. Her charisma occasionally sparks conflicts as others vie for her attention, misreading her intentions.
Her innate dagon abilities encompass expert swimming and underwater breathing. Distressed by past powerlessness, she trained extensively under Hajime and her adoptive mothers, specializing in defensive twin kodachi techniques (Muramasa and Kotetsu) that amplify perception and physical prowess—her swordsmanship inspired by video games. She masters gun kata and Weaver Stance marksmanship using Hajime’s customized toy firearms. Her artifact arsenal includes the Demon Rangers (golems possessed by the Seven Princes of Hell), alongside Donneer & Schlaag revolvers, Schlaagen rifle, Piko-Piko Hammer, barrier-generating pencils ("Don't Touch, You Pervert!"), spell-imbued gems ("Yue-oneechan's Love"), aerodynamic boots, a magic pendant concealing dagon traits on Earth, a Treasure Trove storage ring, a multifunctional smartphone, and a mini-submarine. Later, she piloted the Overanger combat frame alongside the Demon Rangers.
Facing challenges like Kouki Amanogawa’s criticism of Hajime—which distressed her until Hajime intervened—Myu’s growth is evident. Her earnest drive to protect loved ones fueled rigorous training, evolving her into a capable combatant who merges decisiveness with enduring compassion.
